СТАТЬЯ:
An article presents George Mason, one of the Founding Fathers. His prompt death in 1792 ruptured his rising status in the national politics. However, his participation in the building of full-fledged republic is by no means trivial. Widely recognized is his contribution to political life in Virginia and impact upon the Constitutional Convention. Primarily Mason defends the Virginia Plan and the whole idea of the federal constitution, however towards the Convention’s ends, he became more and more sceptic of its results. After having declined to sign up the Constitution, he came back to Virginia to organize dissent. Due to his efforts the Bill of Rights was drafted. His opposition to a such organized political superstructure as the Union begun to be shaped shed lights upon the emerging caveat between republicans and liberals.
