Foreigner Integration Centers are part of an EU financial mechanism (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund), the aim of which is to support migrants and refugees in adapting to life in a new country, society, and culture. The centers are intended to be places where individuals legally arriving in Poland can obtain comprehensive legal assistance, Polish language classes, psychological support, adaptation courses, intercultural workshops, and career counseling services. The Foreigner Integration Centers will not be reception centers or migrant relocation centers, but rather spaces providing comprehensive, effective assistance tailored to the actual needs of individuals arriving in Poland from diverse civilizational and cultural backgrounds. Their activities are intended to be the foundation for implementing the strategy of including and integrating immigrants into Polish society, and the primary source of funding for their activities is the European Union’s Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund.
