The political reforms of 2021–2023 in Uzbekistan included a series of events, starting from the election of the head of state, through a deep constitutional reform and a referendum, to the early election of the president. This cycle was closed at the turn of 2023 and 2024 by a change in the electoral system. In the second half of 2024, elections to the parliament and other representative bodies were held, opening a new chapter in the construction of New Uzbekistan. In this study, the author explains the essence of the electoral law reform, its impact on the parliamentary elections, and the reconfiguration of the model of power. He focuses his research attention particularly on the electoral activity of political parties in the debate on the development strategy of New Uzbekistan until 2029.
