ABSTRACT
The major goal of this manuscript is to present propaganda activities of the so called Islamic State in the Internet from the perspective of the NATO/EU states’ security. It was based both on up-to-date think-tank reports, as well as al-Hayat Media Center productions currently available in the Internet. This article argues that the Islamic State online propaganda is much more sophisticated than common methods used so far by cyberjihadists. Therefore, its efficiency is usually much higher. The manuscript should contribute to the better understanding of the Internet as a domain, which due to its specificity, may determine the character and scale of Islamic terrorism threat.
