ABSTRACT
The purpose of the article is to analyze the powers of the Constitutional Court of
the Republic of Belarus, which were enshrined in the new edition of the Constitution of the
Republic of Belarus. In preparing the article, systemic, structural-logical and comparative
legal methods were used. As a result, a detailed assessment of the new powers of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus is given, taking into account the existing
practice and experience of the constitutional justice bodies of foreign countries, including
the Republic of Poland. The author makes a number of proposals for improving the
legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

Czasopismo naukowe «Studia Politologiczne» uzyskało dofinansowanie z Ministerstwa Edukacji i Nauki w ramach programu „Rozwój Czasopism Naukowych” (projekt numer RCN/SN/0713/2021/1). Wysokość otrzymanego dofinansowania wynosi 79 607 zł. Celem projektu jest realizacja działań zmierzających do podniesienia poziomu praktyk wydawniczych i edytorskich, zwiększenia wpływu Czasopisma na rozwój nauki oraz dalszego zwiększania prestiżu Czasopisma w międzynarodowym obiegu naukowym. Okres realizacji projektu wynosi 24 miesiące.
