Main aim of the article is to bring attention on problems and dilemmas during political authority research. Important question is to define if the political authority should be discern as a personal subject or rather as a feature of subject. Attributive model of authority should also take into account historical, cultural, political conditions and determinants. Most useful and fullest model of the research seems to be a relational perspective. Political authority may be treated as dynamic process or a specific social role and function.
